In this tutorial, we learn how to measure and cut a bow hunting arrow. To do this correctly, you want to measure from where the string hits the throat of the knock all the way to the front where the insert goes in the shaft. You can use a yardstick to this easily. Arrow tips should be cut 3/4" to 1" in front of an arrow shaft. To get the arrow saw set, use an Easton measuring arrow to get your arrow cut perfectly. After cutting this, use a torch to heat the metal glue that goes onto the carbon shaft. Once this is cooled, peel the glue off. When finished, enjoy your new hunting arrow!
